The Cost of Disengagement

I strongly believe that each individual member of society and corporate communities should actively and frequently play a part in the decision process of that body.

For diverging reasons, people sometimes find it convenient to stay out of general, encompassing affairs leaving them entirely up to others and while the outcome of that choice is at first hard to spot, it becomes costly and dear when broader sections of people with unparalleled and potentially valuable insights, experience and perspective stay silent.

The community is defrauded of knowledge that it would otherwise have leading to poorer decisions and utterly unnecessary blunders.

And the individuals choosing isolation will suffer loss along with the group that may have discouraged their participation.

There is strength in Diversity.
